Most
often asked questions of
PeTey
& the CRUISERS...
How can I be sure
that the group of musicians I hire will be the same musicians who will
perform at my event? Petey & the CRUISERS
is a "set" group which means every member in our band will be the same
every time. We do not employ freelance musicians. In the unusual event
of illness, a substitute of equal ability may be employed.
The ages of our
guests will vary considerably. Can your band play all types of music? The
versatility and quality of musicianship in our band is such that our musicians
can authentically perform a wide variety of music ranging from the '50's
Old School Rock era to Classic Rock dance music. Our song list is posted
on this web site and made available to those who inquire.
How many breaks
does the band take during the night and how long do they play? A
standard engagement includes four 45 to 50 minute sets. If
there is a ceremony or cocktail hour before dinner, arrangements can be
made for music to be played during that time. Our band will play a minimum
of 45 minutes with a fifteen minute break between each set. However,
we would be happy to discuss any format that would be conducive to your
event. During the breaks, we prefer to play our CDs which are similar
to our own musical style.

Will
the band perform at a volume that is comfortable for me and for my guests?
Petey
& the CRUISERS will perform music
which is especially suited for the dinner hour and background to conversation.
Conversely, we can increase the volume during the dance portion of the
program. Also, as the party progresses we are always amenable to
raising or lowering the volume at your request. When performing at
nightclub venues, we defer to the owner/staff regarding our volumes.
Our central purpose is to provide those whom we entertain with a positive
and totally enjoyable rock 'n' roll experience.
Will the band
learn a special song? If the number you choose is conducive
to our style of music and we agree to perform it, you will need to provide
four weeks notice and a CD or MP3 of your song. We will guarantee
that your song is learned and performed well. |
